Talking about relevant colors during a given season is nothing new, and in the end everyone is free to wear whatever they keep inside their wardrobes, and there are no rules. On the second day of Paris Fashion Week we felt like wearing red and thanks to E.ENCIU and Nicoleta Enea, we associated a purple-red masculine outfit with a lace-angora feminine outfit in a matchy-matchy manner.
Because the weather was generous with us, not like it was during Milan Fashion Week, we had a great day – lots of showroom visits, meetings, a photo shoot for a lovely asian brand which we will talk about next week and the show Hexa by Kuho which we really enjoyed, even if the blonde half of team almost broke her legs on the way to the show:) Don’t panic! The legs are fine!
Stay tuned to find more about our Paris Fashion Week experiences. And enjoy Véronique Leroy FW 2013 Collection
When we arrived at Palais de Tokyo we didn’t have many expectations, because we have to admit Véronique Leroy was not exactly on our list even if her constant attention to details, fabrics and proportions are the hallmarks of her unique work. But the show started and we discovered a hybrid style which creates a quirky appeal that turns heads, marked with intriguing twists of elegance. The Véronique Leroy FW 2013 collection was inspired from Claude Chabrol’s movie, La Cérémonie.
If we wouldn’t know we are attending a Véronique Leroy show we would’ve recognized her signature by her shifting architecture, an off-center shoulder that gives the impression of fragile balance.
Both powerful and light, coats, jackets are designed with cubic forms that seem alive, or with more voluminous, curvy silhouettes, and loose-fitting backs.
You won’t regret!
