The mix of patterns and textures, the silk and leather, the flower and animal prints, takes you to the urban jungle, that the city became in the last century, where you can easily become a panther, a snake or any other animal ready to attack and fight for the social position that we all linger on.

Roberto Cavalli is referring to his collection as “43 paintings” translated as 43 ways to frame the body of a woman. He acts and talks like a wizard and almost bewitches you when he talks about his masterpieces.
Cavalli’s design  swung between languid slipdresses and hyper-tailored suits, both encrusted with crystals and glass embroidery, both strategically slashed open or transmogrified with ornate leather inserts. The swirls and whorls of Art Nouveau architecture were a big influence on prints that were engineered to trace a woman’s anatomy. The designer combined them with his signature jaguar and python prints for a sophisticated update of what are probably the ultimate Cavalli clichés.(Style.com)

And what was absolutely amazing at his show in Milan is that it started with the blonde models wearing white pieces and ended with brunette models wearing black pieces, like the perfect frame for the other items which came in the middle as a paradise of colors, prints and light.

It’s pure poetry if you ask us. And all the scenario and all the details  makes Cavalli unique and so much valuable in the fashion field.
And the reason we wrote about the Roberto Cavalli SS2013 Collection is that we just wanted to let you know that starting this season you can easily make a fab acquisition from the Roberto Cavalli Boutique from JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel.
We’ve just been there and we were more than amazed to discover the Resort Collection, inspired by the art of italian ceramic. It is more than fabulous!
