Best Spring-Summer 2015 Collections

No, this is not a TOP. We do like rankings, but this time is more about a personal opinion we have, about our choice and our favorite SS 2015 collections. So here you have our selection of best SS2015 collections from New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.

New York Fashion Week SS 2015

Tommy Hilfiger

In the mood for a festival?! Jump in! This collection made us think of Beatles and the golden age of rock and folk. A vintage vibe, but very cool and colorful. We loved the spirit, the energy, the styling. We keep the boots, the caps and the star sweaters!

Lacoste

When you see Lacoste you instantly wanna become a super women, to have a fab job, to do jogging in the morning, to go out to fancy places and have the best holidays in the world. Felipe Oliveira Baptista knows to mix classic with modern and how to make you wear his pieces.

Victoria Beckham

9 seasons and she becomes better and better with every new collection. Maybe we are one-sided because we like her style and we would love to wear all her clothes, but trying to be detached we have to admit that she puts together a collection that is perfect for women at every age. What do we love most? The bags, the mix between sport and elegant, the mixture of materials which  is nice and natural from the beginning to the end of the show.

Thom Browne

One of our favorite collections from NY. And for sure the most original one! Have you seen the hats?! We are in love. The textures, the prints, the 3d clothes. Wow!! They made our day! Most of the times the decor of the show is more impressive than the collection, but at Browne we had the perfect mix. And what we love most is that in the end the pieces are super wearable. The game between feminine and masculine is subtle and very good pointed. Love it!

MM6 Maison Martin Margiela

Pyjamas party during the day! What can be more cool, fun and comfortable than this?! The collection takes us to the 70’s and we love the hippie feeling. We admire how Margiela turns the old pieces into modern ones and reinvents the jeans, the vests and the scarves. He takes us from bed directly to a fancy festival and to a fashion dinner.

Delpozo

This is a collection #todiefor. Josef Font is so meticulous that everything looks perfect. All the pieces are a work of art. He mixes sport elements, with elegance and classic in shapes that put the women and her silhouette in the light. But we don’t love only the shapes, but also the fabrics that he uses. And to be honest the coats and the skirts look like they are made from marzipan, don t you think? So yummy!!!

London Fashion Week
Marchesa

OMG!! We love this dresses! So dreamy… They are perfect for our future life in Monaco.:)) The rock and roll, gipsy and princess kind of dresses. They had it all!The designers of Marchesa, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig had the show in London to celebrate our 10th year in fashion.

Ashish

Glamour and sequins during the day! Sounds perfect for us. Ashish made a statement and people loved it. We adore the jeans and the dresses. They feel so cool and so easy to wear. Nice necklaces and interesting sweaters. If you wanna make a statement, you know what to buy!

Alberta Ferretti

Transparent, sexy, nude and some embroideries…smells like a sexy summer. The jeans is prezent even here and the mix with organza and silk gives more feminity and inocence to the pieces. We have also graphics and fringes, but all together look good. Sexy, bohemian, girlish all in one! All we have to do is wait for the summer!

No.21

We are kind of in love with Dell’Acqua ‘s collections. Have you noticed the shoes?! We love them. So sexy and with those embellishments they look like ready to eat. Eat with the heart!

Etro

A handmade touch, very ethnic and boho style. We admire a lot Veronoca Etro’s way of designing. Free spirit, she likes easy designs, natural materials and a wild approach. The collection is in the spirit of the 70s, very hippie, full of life and colors.

Ports 1961

Ports is always stylish and feminine with a touch of sensuality. Transparent silk, leather and simple cuts make Ports collection a must wear.

Ermanno Scervino

Women must be women. And Ermanno Scervino knows how to make her feel feminine, sexy and confident. The fabrics are luxurious and even if he had also some sport elements all the pieces are ment to make the women feel pretty and glam.

Roberto Cavalli

A lot of colors! All that you can imagine. But also some black and white. A very comfy collection and perfect for summer holiday. We like Cavalli’d graphics and textures and the trasparent dresses. He has some hippie elements too and we like how he uses leather.

Dolce &Gabbana

Spain and Sicily were the inspiration for Dominica and Stefano. Flamenco polka dots, matador’s jackets, a lot of red and outfits super sexy as always. Embroideries were everywhere! And even them have jeans, but not common ones, but with crystals and stones. We love them!

Au Jour Le Jour

They have absolutely fabulous collections! Full of prints and colors, they always bring happiness in our lives with their clothes. Lips, fruits, illustrations of little creatures, sequins and even ice cream. Perfect for a happy summer. We are in love with the sequins jeans with bananas. They look so fab!

Paris Fashion Week
Vionnet

Inspired by curves and by dancing as the press notes say, Vionnet collection is statement and very bold. Grecian draping in Medeleine Vionnet style were mixed with stretch leggings and leather. Not bad!

Lanvin

Not that we love Alber, but he always touches our souls. This SS 2015 collection is simple, but still sprinkled with statement necklaces and fancy bags. We like the little pearls details on the skirts and belts. All the pieces are feminine and perfect for day and night, for the shy women, but also for the extravagant ones. A mix of wild and classic that makes you die of pleasure.

Kenzo

Easy to wear and comfy this Kenzo collection is like the perfect summer. We like the jeans and the pastel items but also the black sweaters. It took us to Japan somehow due to the proportions, but we like it.

Jean Paul Gaultier

“End of an era” for sure. This last RTW show of JPG made everyone sad and nostalgic. The collection was one to be remember forever. We are in love with the asymmetrical blazer wear as dress and the amazing hats! About Rossy de Palma on the catwalk what can we say?!! Bold. Even if the collection was a mix of 4-5 stylies we adore it. Jeans, leather, tutu, metal, silk, lycra. The IT items with the JPG will be for sure sold out very fast. We will miss you JPG!

Elie Saab

Ellie Saab is always about glam and princess like dresses. This season he added a little sport influence to his collection but in a fabulous way as he always does. Prints, lace inserts and sequins stripes. We find this collection more easy to wear from morning till late at night from Provence to NY.
