Every single party dress deserves a fabulous piece of jewelry. If you don’t show up to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival it doesn’t mean you are not allowed to wear amazing necklaces or earrings. Fine jewelry and delicate rings and bracelets have made a major comeback and when Hollywood diamonds sparkle and gems drop from ears, we tell you, you can have the Oscar look whenever you want. In the last year our collaboration with KULTHO boutiques taught us more than we ever expected about the jewelry world. This time a new brand was introduced to us and it’s called Marco Bicego.
The brand works on one-off pieces and creates jewelry collections that glitter in the windows of top jewelry stores all over the world and it offers that unique style you can always play with, whether you have a cocktail dress or a business suit. We have chosen to wear them with two powder pink party dresses, but these pieces can easily be worn with any color, fabric or shape.
Back to Marco Bicego, you have to know that he draws inspiration from organic shapes. Nature is Marco’s absolute muse and his new collections talk about this in a very subtle way. The distinctive feature is the luxurious and silken texture, meticulously wrapped around an all-gold flexible and woven core, that makes them look like pieces from a fairytale puzzle.
Symbols of natural beauty and timelessness, these whimsical creations intensify the freshness of a look and what we love most about them is that they are perfect for playing and layering. You can wear two, three or more rings, bracelets and necklaces in the same time and they will still look awesome.
If you need more guidelines about how you can wear them here you have 5 looks that can be accessorised with fine jewelry (click on each look to see the outfit)
2015 is the year of Lunaria, Marco Bicego’s most significant collection, which we kindly recommend it to you. The delicate leaves of these pieces are embossed by hand, one by one, and then engraved with the honoured bulino technique to give them the Brand’s signature precious, silky effect and they look amazing on the skin.
