Because you asked so many times for a full day photo diary and because we know you are curious about how it looks a day like during fashion week here it is – a full day from MFW. Fashion week it’s about fab outfits and street style, but also about the shows, about new trends for the next season, about friends and parties and all these mean time and emotions. We always start our morning with coffee and we reorganize the schedule for the whole day. No time for breakfast – shows usually starts at 9am. Our first show of the day was Antonio Marras. He always has amazing collections and amazing venue. The collection looks simple in lines and shapes, but the looks were anything but that. The details are amazing and everything has a role and a meaning. The materials were precious, shinny and glam in colors like brown, grey, green and white, but we also spotted some bold pieces in summerish patterns and colors. Marras has also floral patters in his collection, lace and transparecy and stripes. After the show we went to eat – we were starving ( and took some photos. Yes we like to post photos sometimes with what we eat. What’s wrong with that?!! We all do it, right!?)
On our way to Ermanno Scervino show we stoped at a funny store and bought some cool stuff (some tags: the one with stop – see Diana’s bag and another one with “this bag is mine” and the funny eyes – see Alina’s backpack!)
Ermanno Scervino is one of our favorite MFW collections because it’s the most feminine! All the fabrics are so precious…matching and overlapping layers for a seductive and sensual touch. We loved the tuxedo dustcoats in varials materials like multi-layeered lace, raffia, lasared canvas or the new military-style organza.
After Ermanno show we ran to Versace showroom to see much closer the SS16 collection. It’s amazing to see the pieces so close and touch them. The accessories were amazing. We don’t know what we like more: the super boots, the bags or the backpacks. Very hard to decide. The collection is more than what we expected and we loved it.
You know…it’s not always fun to run from a show to another, take photos, socialise and smile all the time…just in case you thought it is amazingly fun. Well it’s like any other job – it’s about work and a strict schedule.
So after Versace we went home to change our outfits and went to Elisabeta Franchi show and after the show to attend the #DissaronoWearsCavalli dinner. We were kind of tired, but the event was amazing. The food, the company, the location. Everything was indeed super well organised. And the bottle looks amazing. We will receive it these days and you will see it soon on our instagram accounts.
So this is how a day looks like. Wake-up time 7:30 am. Sleeping time 2:00 am. Shows, showroom presentations, meetings, editing texts for Marie Claire, posting on FabulousMuses and of course parties…we need some fun and socialising! It’s not easy, but we love it!
