Ermanno Scervino’s Spring-Summer 2017 Collection featured an extensive display of materials, textures, and finishes: silk organza, habutai silk, honeycomb motifs, velvet and floral patterns.
The center of attention: dresses. Scervino featured lightness, delicacy, transparency. The fabrics and the refined finishes were the breathtaking factor of the collection. Lace was utilized in myriad ways. Evening dresses made of silk lace, coated lace and embroidered lace. The silhouettes were rather elongated, slim and beautifully constructed. The pallete was imbued with a dreamy, high-feminine mood: cerulean, aqua, blonde, and nude.
Our great favorite garments: an au de nil masculine suit made of embroidered lace and the masculine oversize shirts in striped, crispy poplin worn over lace-up shorts and brassieres.
The most important detail in Ermanno Scervino’s inspiration. Beauty. Beauty and Femininity, which he affirms, is everything.
