Pandora experience in Bangkok

Bangkok is not always a good idea, but for sure it’s the best idea when Pandora invites you in a special trip. We said yes without thinking too much and it was for sure one of the best trips ever. Pandora organize every year a trip to Bangkok for bloggers and press to show how Pandora pieces are made and to introduce the influencers Pandora world from its first beginnings. All started on a Saturday evening with a flight to Istanbul and then Bangkok – 12 hours- movies, sleep, gossip, music, the usual. We finally arrived at Mandarin Oriental Hotel at 15:00 as far as we remember. We had a shower and then we went to the pool and some snapchat of course and then we had a lovely traditional thai dinner organized by Pandora. Everything was super interesting – we had some traditional dancers and of course thai food that is DELICIOUS. Second day was all about touristic sites of Bangkok. We visited the Temples and we’ve been introduced to Buddha. Impressive and fabulous. The Grand Palace is not only big, impressive, full of tourists, but also the most beautiful asian site we ever saw. We forgot to tell you that every day Pandora gave us a special gift from their super fabulous collection. It was like our little dessert at the end of the day. In the evening we tried the thai massage. It was the first time for both of us and it was very good for our wasted bones. After massage we went to dinner to an indian place. In fact is the best indian restaurant in Bangkok (Trip Adviser said this) and we had the best dinner ever. {YES, the food is heavenish everywhere}. The third day it was the one that made us rethink all the jewelry business and history. Pandora took us to their factory. In fact factories ,because they have not one, but 5 where aprox 12.000 people work. Why so many?! Because every Pandora piece is made by hand. The process is not easy at all! You must have special skills and a lot of patience. We weren’t aloud to take photos in the factories (every factory that we visited has this rule. They want to protect the faces of their employees) but the conditions are very good. We even went to eat at their eatery and we saw their trophies. We were super impressed about all the process, the visit was a revelation. We thought the factory will be boring, but was nothing like this. After the factory visit we went to a Thai market and had some shopping and then some pool time.

In the evening we went to Sirocco to have dinner and it was for sure a dinner that we won’t forget. The view from the 64th floor is amazing and the atmosphere is fabulous. We loved every moment of it.

We were lucky to be chosen by Pandora for this amazing trip. It was definitely a magic experience.
